Although auDA has very strict rules on AU domain transfers to discourage investing, trading in AU domain names is becoming quite strong. Obviously it’s still no where near the prices of GTLDs however it is growing.
Below is a list of reported sales in 2009 that managed to pass the $5,000 mark.

- TrinityBeach.com.au $10,000

- Everybody.com.au $9,900

- Merimbula.net.au $5,000 (seems to be now listed for sale @ $20,000)
